Dorothy Graham Blog: Is it dangerous to measure ROI for test automation?

Dorothy Graham Blog: Is it dangerous to measure ROI for test automation?

Browser dependencies, slow Test Automation execution and script maintenance are a few things which makes poor ROI over application life cycle. One advantage though is the top-down/end-to-end execution but I think the perfect compromise for high level test automation is via Web Services.

Try CAST 2012 for Effective Software Application Testing

I have been to many conventions relevant to software testing but unfortunately could never try Computer Aided Software Testing (CAST) for various factors. Luckily, this season I will be at San Jose for CAST 2012, and yes I am thrilled about it. I am discussing on two subjects at CAST 2012.

In the primary period, I am referring to the risks of over-reliance on popularity requirements, ongoing incorporation and implementation to prods. My second discussion is under emerging topic category and I will discuss about randomization in automation and how we can use automation more effectively by introducing randomization. In one period, I will discuss restrictions of automation and in another period I will discuss how amazing test automation could be.

After the meeting, I am joining complete day guide by Karen Johnson on mobile app testing. I have been to Karen's conference in STP Nashville last season, and awaiting this complete day guide.
Take a look at the CAST 2012 Schedule and see which period would you like to miss? Don't want to overlook any one of them, right? Well that's how amazing this meeting is going to be! Also, observe that, every session is around 75 minutes, which leaves sufficient time for all questions might want to have on the topic. In my view, primary resource of studying at any meeting is the conferring and CAST makes conferring important and compulsory aspect of every period.

Unlike, other conventions - fun doesn't end at 6:00 PM in CAST, in-fact for many individuals it begins at 6:00 with TestLab and TestingGames.

In a nut-shall, I am sure CAST 2012 will be amazing and I will understand a-lot by introducing, joining and conferring with professionals who are serious about software testing. If you haven't authorized, you can still sign-up and be an aspect of us, but if you cannot because of any purpose you can still get involved in CAST from anywhere on the globe;  Supposing you have online access and are already or would like to become a software testing specialist, let us give a try to CAST 2012.
